Rain...Rain Go Away Photoshoot

     A photographer nemesis during an outdoor shoot is the rain...but being a photographer we should take a risk specially if the event was already scheduled.  Rain...Rain Go Away photoshoot was calendared during that rainy season and our group was very lucky that day coz' the rain really go away.

     We held our photoshoot at Bluroze Farm and Wildlife, a verdant place located at the heart of Lipa City that recognizes the power of nature to heal, nourish and revive the mind, body and spirit from the rigors of everyday life. It has its humble beginning as a former poultry and piggery.  The tranquility brought about by the surrounding natural beauty transformed Bluroze into an ideal place for recollections, retreats, team building seminars, and camping.

     This photoshoot started the collaboration of our group here in Laguna the Shutter Clickers Club and the Cavite base Cavite Camera Club attended by their founder/admin Arman Olan and Jhay Panal.  Other photographers were Vic Valparaiso, Pholly Cortez, Jim Masilang and videographer Gray Cortez.  Models who attended were Angie, Asheil  Hershee, Julie, Russ and Hans.

After graduating on my FPPF Basic Photography Workshop, I informed my classmates that I will organized a photoshoot for our batch.  The event materialized but only 2 of my classmate made it.  The location was in UP Los Baños and we invited two aspiring models namely Angie Dee and Julie Anne Natividad.  I was told by my friend that her friends wanted a pictorial.  I readily agreed since I was not busy during that time.  This was a trade-in shoot and the place was Villa Rosalinda's Garden Resort , located at Cabuyao, Laguna.  I was their only photographer and my models that time are Julientt, KC and Krizzy.

Dealing With An Angry Person

With the kind of business I’m with there are lots of person I’m dealing with and it can’t be avoided that some got irritated or got angry. Base on my experience I agreed to what I’ve read a while ago. Experts give the following tips on how to deal with an angry person: 1. Determine not to get angry yourself. 2. Physically mirror the position and posture of the other person to help build rapport. 3. Shut up . Don’t defend yourself. Not yet. The person needs to calm down first by saying his piece. 4. Listen to understand . 5. Speak calmly . 6. Use your eyes and face to say, “I hear you and I want to help.” 7. Make an emphatic statement . Like “I can see why you feel that way” or “I’d probably feel the same way you do.” 8. Ask clarifying questions . 9. Wait for the ripe time to offer a rational solution. 10.
