Huling Hirit This Summer Photoshoot

With the summer coming to an end I decided to organized an event for our group titled Huling Hirit This Summer and it was held at Dampalit Falls in Los Baños, Laguna.  Los Baños is one of the popular municipalities of the province of Laguna. This town is situated between Mt. Makiling and Laguna de Bay, and is known for its beautiful green landscape. Sitting on a prehistoric volcano, Los Baños has plenty of natural hot springs which lead to how this muncipality got its name, the Spanish for “bathing place.  The Dampalit Falls can be found at Brgy. Lalakay, Los Baños. This hidden waterfalls is situated just at the edge of Mt. Makiling and not so many have known of it. Dampalit falls is quite high, more or less 80 feet tall.  The rocky pool at the bottom is knee-level at the deepest, still safe for little kids to play. What I like about this place is how it is surrounded by tall trees, makes you feel you’re somewhere remote.  Our models who took a dip on that very cool water were Julientt, Hans, Kryz, Julie, Cristina and Hershee and also to our HMUA Audrey Alilio Amores.

After graduating on my FPPF Basic Photography Workshop, I informed my classmates that I will organized a photoshoot for our batch.  The event materialized but only 2 of my classmate made it.  The location was in UP Los Baños and we invited two aspiring models namely Angie Dee and Julie Anne Natividad.  I was told by my friend that her friends wanted a pictorial.  I readily agreed since I was not busy during that time.  This was a trade-in shoot and the place was Villa Rosalinda's Garden Resort , located at Cabuyao, Laguna.  I was their only photographer and my models that time are Julientt, KC and Krizzy.

Dealing With An Angry Person

With the kind of business I’m with there are lots of person I’m dealing with and it can’t be avoided that some got irritated or got angry. Base on my experience I agreed to what I’ve read a while ago. Experts give the following tips on how to deal with an angry person: 1. Determine not to get angry yourself. 2. Physically mirror the position and posture of the other person to help build rapport. 3. Shut up . Don’t defend yourself. Not yet. The person needs to calm down first by saying his piece. 4. Listen to understand . 5. Speak calmly . 6. Use your eyes and face to say, “I hear you and I want to help.” 7. Make an emphatic statement . Like “I can see why you feel that way” or “I’d probably feel the same way you do.” 8. Ask clarifying questions . 9. Wait for the ripe time to offer a rational solution. 10.
