My first and second wedding coverage as back-up photographer
After retiring from my work, my batch mate in photography class, Jeng, asked me if I can lend my assistance during his 2 wedding coverages and I immediately nodded to gain experience in wedding photography. It was really a new exposure since I am into portraiture that time, I never imagined that I will cover such big occasion like that. The first one was the wedding of Rodney and Abby and the second was the wedding of James and Rhana. Covering weddings as I learned that day was really an exhaustion...I have to eat full before the event, standing on a very long hours, shoot.... shoot.... shoot....but at the end of the day I felt satisfaction on what I did. I think Photography is really my passion.
As I am glancing today with the shots I made that day, I said ...ouch!!! In my mind, my friend Jeng didn't furnished or included my shot for submission to his client, hmmmm... maybe one or two shots, and I can understand why. :D :D :D
And I do admire my friend Jeng for the gamble he made for me...and I really appreciate it up to now. Jeng is one photographer I idolized in covering kids birthday party.
